Zak Companies, along with Mercy Blood Donor Services, held a Holiday Blood Drive last Friday, December 17. Many, many thanks to all of our employees and friends that turned out to help. Your kindness and generosity will be felt by many!
Blood donations typically decline around the holidays, and since the onset of the pandemic, the drop has been even sharper. Many facilities are currently experiencing critical, dangerous shortages of blood. The need for donated blood, however, never declines. Remember, there is no replacement and blood is perishable. A steady supply is always needed.
